The Craig Family Page
We have traced the Craig family back to Ireland, but do not have a lot of information about them. Our history of them begins with Thomas Craig and Jane Cresswell.
Thomas and Jane were married in Ireland and had 11 children. The first five, John K., James, Mary A., Fannie and Adam were born in Ireland.
Sometime between 1866 and 1870, Thomas and Jane moved their family to the United States. They then had six more children -- Margaret, Thomas R., Ted, Hugh, Jane (Jennie) and Ella Agnes.
The Craig family traveled from Iowa to Kansas and on to Oregon with Craig and Isabella Bennett.
Ella Agnes Craig was born January 17, 1881 in Kansas. She married Walter Harvey Bennett, son of Craig and Isabella, on November 28, 1900 in Moro, Oregon. They had nine children.
